GRC (Glass Reinforced Concrete) Lightweight Veneers, Architectural Dressings and Designer Concrete

Glass fibre reinforced concrete is a composite material consisting of Alkali-resistant glass fibres, portland cement, fine aggregate, water and polymer additives. The resultant composite achieves significant flexural, tensile and impact strength. A big advantage of GRC is its relative strength to weight ratio, which is far greater than that of ordinary precast concrete. This greater strength permits the use of sections down to as little as 10 mm.
GRC composites can be designed and manufactured as veneer architectural dressings e.g. cills, heads, quoins, copings, wall panels, columns and general trim. Product can be included at the time of the main build or retro fitted. The material is therefore ideally suited to add features or dress and enhance both new and older properties
